The latest testimonials
A very good way to send free faxes, no need to buy or be burdened with a fax machine. Compared to all the sites I have tried, yours is undoubtedly the most polished, not to mention that it works on mobile.
This is surely little compared to your daily efforts to maintain and improve your platform, but on behalf of our whole association we wanted to thank you for your site. Sending faxes for free and simply did not yet exist on the internet.
The most frequently asked questions
- Is sending a fax free?
- A one-page fax is free and unlimited, with no sign-up and no subscription. From two pages, a send costs €3.99 incl. VAT, whatever the number of pages, and PDF acknowledgments of receipt are an option at €2.99 incl. VAT. No advertising is ever added to your documents.
- Do I need to create an account to send a fax?
- No. Sending a fax requires no registration and no password. Only your name and an email address are required: the email is used to send you the tracking link. A one-page fax needs no payment method; only documents of two pages or more (€3.99 incl. VAT) and the optional acknowledgments of receipt are paid.
- How do I send a fax from a computer without a fax machine?
- From the MondialFax home page: upload your document as a PDF, choose the country, enter the recipient's fax number, then confirm the send. You need no fax machine, no phone line and no software: a web browser is enough.
- Can you send a fax by email?
- Not from your mailbox: MondialFax has no address to which you could email a document to be faxed. You send from your browser — attach the PDF, choose the country, enter the number and confirm — with no software and no account. Your email address is used to receive the PDF acknowledgment of your request and the link to track the send.
- Which countries are compatible with MondialFax?
- One of the strengths of MondialFax is how simply and quickly you can fax several countries. Seven destinations are covered: France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Canada.
- How do I enter a fax number in another country?
- First choose the destination country, then enter the number as it is dialled within that country, without the international code: MondialFax adds it for you. The form shows the expected format for each of the seven destinations and rejects any number that does not match it.
- How long does it take for the fax to be sent?
- The transmission time depends directly on how many people are using the site and how many faxes are queued. As a rule, once your request is confirmed, delivery takes one to two minutes. During peak periods, the sending process may take a few minutes longer.
- My fax is “pending”: what should I do?
- “Fax pending” is the status of a confirmed fax that has not left yet: it is waiting its turn in the sending queue. It usually goes out one to two minutes after confirmation, a little later at busy times, and the status page refreshes by itself. Do not resend the document unless a failure is shown: you would send the fax twice.
- Can I receive faxes with MondialFax?
- No. MondialFax sends faxes but does not receive them and does not assign any numbers. To receive a fax, you need a fax number reserved for you, connected to a fax machine or to a fax-to-email service, which is almost always paid for.
